At this event the most
stalwart and honorable Knights and even non-belted fighters
vie for the right to wear the Crown of Atenveldt. It is a very
exciting event to witness with a lot to see that is the essence

Atenveldt Coronation
A new King and Queen of Atenveldt are crowned.
This is an event full of pomp and circumstance. At this event the
winner of the Crown Tournament and his/her consort will be crowned
King (or Queen) of Atenveldt .This is a great place to see some stunning
historical clothing as well as ceremonies and entertainment that
are some of the best the SCA has to offer.

Crown Tournament
Barony of Mons Tonitrus
Date: September 5, 2003 - September 7, 2003
Location: Lower Garden Canyon (Fort Huachuca) in Sierra Vista,
AZ
Directions:
Take I-10 east to Exit 302, and Journey Southward. You will
pass through Huachuca City,
and continue on to Fry Blvd.
There are signs to indicate the Ft. Huachuca Main Gate. Turn
right onto Post (don’t forget to stop at the guard shack
to get your pass--proof of insurance, registration, and photo
ID will be required!). Continue along Squier Avenue until just
before Winrow, veer to the left (we will have signs posted!).
Move to the right hand lane (otherwise, you’ll travel
off-post). At the stop sign, go straight. This will lead directly
to Garden
Canyon. The road has many dips, so please be aware of the speed
limit. Lower Garden Canyon is the first site on the left.
Feast
Fee: Adults 18 & Over: $9, Youth 7 - 17, Children
6 & Under: Free. Reservations due to feast stewart by August
22, 2003.
Site Fee: $8 for entire weekend, $4 for day-trip, Non-member
Surcharge of $3 applies.
Site Open: September 5 at 3 PM - September 7 at 6 PM. (Saturday
Court begins at 10 AM with tournament to immediately follow.
Armor inspection should be completed before court.)
Site Restrictions: There is no water on site, so please bring
your own. Please bring fire extinguishers. Pets allowed on leashes.

willing to extend us a "club" discount- so make
sure you mention it. If you chose one of those and they give
you
any problems- let me know and I'll hassle them personally,

Location: Estrella Mountain Park in Goodyear, AZ.
Site Fee (Includes luncheon Feast on Saturday):
Adult members: $8, Adult non-members: $11, Children: Free. Camping
and park fees
will be collected at the ranger’s station and are in addition
to the site fee.
